Tallahassee Comets - Preparing Female Student-Athletes For Their Academic & Athletic Future!

Cost

The annual full membership fee for players on AAU/YBOA teams is $1,500.00 which participates in college exposure events is $1,500.00. Membership fees include membership/insurance into the AAU & YBOA organizations and Comets Attire for the season. We also have an associate membership available to players who are not able to fully participate in tournament play for various reasons. The annual associate membership fee per player is $400.00. This fee includes membership/insurance into the AAU & YBOA and Comets Attire. Those players who choose to become associate members will be able to participate in local events and scheduled practices while further developing their basketball skills.

Our teams will be provided the opportunity to play a lot of basketball. The membership fee per player will defray some of the organization’s cost such as; corporation fees, equipment, food, uniforms, transportation, hotel accommodations, tournament entry fees, team expenses and national & college exposure events. The membership fees are non-refundable.

To assist families with the membership fee, the Comets have annual fundraising events. These fundraisers generate the balance of team expenses and can help families who participate with their membership fee. Monies raised by your daughter’s participation will be credited towards her membership fee. All players/parents will be called upon to assist with fundraising events, as they are a source of revenue for the organization.

The Tallahassee Comets are committed to providing this competitive girls basketball opportunity to all girls who are interested! We will assist all families who need assistance with the membership fee through our fundraising activities, partial payment plan, and scholarships program.

Partial Payment Plan – The Tallahassee Comets realizes that participation in our program is a huge financial commitment. To assist families, a partial payment plan is implemented to spread the cost over several months. Click here for the Partial Payment Plan.
