Player Eligibility

The Comets compete in age-correct Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) and Youth Basketball of America (YBOA) events such as the regional qualifiers, State and National Championships. Age determination rules are determined by the AAU and YBOA.

Girls - January 1st, at 12:00AM and Boys, September 1st, at 12:00AM, shall be the determining date for the age of the competitor and shall hold true for the District, Regional and National Championships.  Click here for AAU age calculator.
