Glenda a four-year starter during her tenure (80-83) at Florida
State
University. She was a member of
Florida
State’s first ever-top twenty-ranked
team (No. 19, 3/6/83).
Glenda is a member of the “1000” Point Club and to date, ranks in
the top ten in the categories of rebounds, steals, and field goad
percentage. She holds the record for most games played (130), more
than any women’s basketball player in
Florida
State history. Glenda also served as
an assistant coach to the Leon Lady Lions during the 2000 season
and was a YMCA volunteer youth coach in ‘2004.
Rob
Hicks states, "I'm delighted that Glenda has come on-board and
today with her first practice session, she looked right at home on
the basketball court. Glenda is a huge addition to our

Glenda
says, "Being back on the
court felt like "going home". It felt very familiar and the
Comet Family made it very comfortable for me to step right in. I'm excited about the weeks to come. My experience has
been that the all around player is the foundation to any
basketball team. A players should not focus on just being the
best scorer. In the end, defense wins games. Tenacious defense,
rebounding, ball handling and team play are also
vital components in becoming a complete player."
