College Recruiting
Many
female student-athletes aspire to play college basketball. Some of you will be and are
being recruited by college coaches. To help you understand this
process, the NCAA Guide for the College Bound Athlete
provides you with your
rights and responsibilities as a recruited athlete. If you are contacted by a college coach or if you contact a college coach, it is
important to follow this guide. You and your parents should be aware of
these guidelines. Click here for a description of
NCAA
Divisions I, II and III.
Most players don't receive the kind of exposure or
attention that they would like to receive. Our Player Profiles
Section includes quality promotional web pages used to promote and provide
recruiting exposure for players to colleges in a very significant way. Our
database includes over 1,700 women's basketball college coaches from Divisions
I, II, III, NAIA and NJCAA. The profiles of serious athletes are
periodically
forwarded to the college coaches and posted on our website. The
Tallahassee Comets provide this service "free" to all players who are
interested as a service to the girls basketball community. The value
of the player profiles is to give each player a better chance to be exposed to
and selected by a college that is best for them. As this unique and exciting
service continues to develop, players will be able to select the colleges where
they would like their player profile sent and college coaches can now view
player profiles of potential recruits on-line.
