Rhonda Walker Signs With FCCJ

Tallahassee Comets and Lincoln High School’s standout Rhonda Walker has chose to sign a letter-of-intent with Florida Community College in Jacksonville (FCCJ), Jacksonville, Florida.  Rhonda has been a four-year starter for Lincoln High School and will receive a scholarship to play for Coach Debra Woods and the Lady Stars of FCCJ in the upcoming 2006-07 season.   “I’ve enjoyed playing the game of basketball through the years and now I finally have the chance to play on the collegiate level – I love it” says Rhonda.  “We are very proud of Rhonda’s accomplishments and her determination to move on to the next level of playing” states her family.

Rhonda is planning to major in sports management.  In addition to this proud moment Rhonda also received the “Trojan of the Year Award” from Lincoln High School (LHS) for her outstanding contributions to Lincoln’s Athletic program.  This is the highest LHS athletic award.
